(Kyodo) _ Dutch Crown Prince Willem Alexander and his wife Maxima will travel to Thailand and Mongolia in June, the Royal Press Office said Tuesday.

On June 12-13, the Royal Highnesses will represent the queen in Bangkok for the celebration of the 60th jubilee of His Royal Highness King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, a statement said.

This will be followed, from June 14-18, by an official visit to Mongolia, which celebrates its 800th birthday this year, it added.

While the highnesses will attend the festivities in Bangkok, they will be in Mongolia to meet representatives from the political and cultural sectors.

On June 14, Willem Alexander and Maxima will visit the mayor of Ulan Bator Tsogt Batbayar as well as the parliament of the country.

One day later, the couple will visit the Gandaan Monastery and the Hustai National Park. They will spend the night in a gercamp.

The official visit will end on June 17 with an official dinner hosted by Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar.
