Seoul shares end down, give up gain on firmer won
SEOUL, March 21 (Reuters) - Seoul shares ended marginally
lower on Wednesday, erasing early gains, as the firmer won
hurt exporters, while disappointed investors booked profits after
the benchmark index backed away from resistance at 1,450 points.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) closed at
1,442.85 points, down 0.09 percent.
Hyundai Motor Co. fell 0.29 percent to 67,600 won
while Hynix Semiconductor Inc. ended 1.75 percent
higher at 31,900 won.
