Baseball: Ichiro hits double, K. Matsui has multi-hit day
(Kyodo) _ Ichiro Suzuki doubled off the right-field wall and stole his first base of the spring, and Kazuo Matsui hit a double in going 2-for-5 Tuesday.
Suzuki hit the first pitch from San Francisco Giants starter Matt Morris to deep right leading off the bottom of the first and stole second after rapping a fielder's choice grounder in the third in his next at-bat.
The Japanese outfielder left the game in the sixth after going 1-for-3, leaving his average at .322. San Francisco won 9-8.
