Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on June 14
MILAN, June 14 (Reuters) - The following factors could
affect Italian markets on Thursday.

GEMINA
Shares in Australian investment fund Macquarie Airports
were placed on a trading halt on Thursday ahead of an
expected 1.2 billion euro ($1.6 billion) deal to sell its
interests in Rome's two main airports.
Macquarie Airports said it requested the trading halt for
two working days ahead of a "significant announcement".
The shares earlier jumped 3.5 percent on reports holding
company Gemina has made an informal offer to buy out its 45
percent stake in the operator of Rome's two main airports.

FINMECCANICA
A team led by L-3 Communications Holdings has won a
contract worth up to $2 billion to supply as many as 78 cargo
aircraft to the U.S. Army and Air Force, the U.S. Department
said on Wednesday.
The L-3 team includes Boeing and Alenia North
America, a unit of Italy's Finmeccanica, as well as Rolls-Royce
Plc and Honeywell International .

New car registrations in Europe fell for the fourth month in
a row in May, down 1.6 percent to 1,442,518 units, due to a
decline in major markets like Germany, the region's car makers
association ACEA said on Thursday.
Among the region's major manufacturers, Fiat rose the most,
