(KSE:000270), South Korea's second-largest automaker, said Tuesday it will introduce a new sport utility vehicle in late 2007 to win more sales in the United States and Europe with premium models.The SUV, code-named HM, was scheduled for release by the end of this year, Kia said in a statement, showcasing sketches of the new model. Kia didn't disclose a sales target for the new model. Kia expects the SUV to compete with such models as Toyota Motor Corp.'s Lexus RX350 and Bayerische Motoren Werke AG's X5. (Yonhap) |
