Tuesday July 24, 11:47 PMLaos' Public Security Minister holds talks with S'pore counterpartSINGAPORE: Laos' Public Security Minister, Mr Thongbanh Sengaphone, who is in Singapore, has held talks with his Singapore counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Wong Kan Seng.The Home Affairs Ministry said both of them exchanged views on cyber crimes, immigration control and community policing. Singapore and Laos also agreed to explore various areas of co-operation including training of Lao law enforcement officers in Singapore. Mr Thongbanh is here for his first official visit since becoming Minister of Public Security in 2005. - CNA/yy
