ThyssenKrupp group wins S.Korea coke plant contract
FRANKFURT, Aug 22 (Reuters) - German industrial conglomerate
ThyssenKrupp said it won a contract to build a new
coke plant for Hyundai Steel Co in South Korea as
part of a consortium with Hanjin Heavy Industries .
Thyssen's share of the 250 million-euro deal is about 150
million euros ($202.2 million), the German company said in a
statement on Wednesday.
The coke plant, which will have an annual production
capacity of 3.2 million metric tonnes, is part of a new
integrated steel mill complex being constructed by Hyundai Steel
at Dangjin, around 100 km south-west of Seoul.
