Sunday September 16, 11:47 PMStar of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang musical makes public appearanceSINGAPORE : The star of the hit movie and musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang made a rare public performance at the Esplanade on Saturday morning.But do not expect to get any autographs although fans are allowed take pictures with her! Of course it is none other than the flying car itself, affectionately known to her fans as just "Chitty". Because Chitty is also a fully working car, she even obliged with a slow drive in the rain along the Esplanade. This magical vintage car will make its appearance in public again starting at Suntec City on Monday. She will then make her rounds to other malls like the Chevron House, VivoCity and Bugis Junction until early October. Chitty will take centrestage, with a cast of over 70, at the Esplanade Theatre from November 2 to 18. - CNA/ch |
