Saturday December 15, 11:17 PMBoys' Brigade Sharity Gift Box flags off to help the needyIn line with the spirit of giving, some volunteers have geared themselves up for charity.The annual Boys' Brigade Sharity Gift Box was flagged off on Saturday morning. At least 90 vehicles joined in the project to distribute some 1,500 food hampers to the needy islandwide. The items included food and other household stuff that should last the recipient at least three months. The Sharity Gift Box project will end on December 20th. Volunteers who want to help deliver the hampers to beneficiaries can go to the Boys' Bridgade Headquarters at Ganges Avenue. They can also call the hotline at 1800-SHARITY (7427489). - CNA/ch
