Tuesday March 25, 2:17 AMSingapore supports China's stand on TibetSINGAPORE : Singapore supports China's stand on Tibet.In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry says "Singapore supports the declared policy of the Chinese government to protect the lives and property of its citizens from violent demonstrators with minimum use of force." MFA added that Singapore is "opposed to the politicisation of the Olympic Games". Singapore notes Premier Wen Jiabao's comment that "China is prepared to hold dialogue with the Dalai Lama based on 'One China' and the renunciation of violence."
