Saturday July 5, 4:35 AMActress Binoche turns dancer for new show in London
Binoche, 44 -- best known for her roles in films like "The English Patient" and "Three Colours: Blue" -- is to take to the stage for "In-I" at the National Theatre in London before the show goes on tour around the world. She has never danced on stage before and will be accompanied by Khan, who will act, sing and play the guitar. "I don't know the result yet but I know the path that we're taking is changing me radically," Binoche said. "I never know what I'm capable of before I do it." She added at a London press conference that the show was "about a relationship between men and women -- why do we have to be so close and still not be able to reach each other?" "In-I" runs in London from September 6 to October 19. |
