JAKARTA, July 23 Asia Pulse - Highlights of today's newspapers:

BISNIS INDONESIA

- The Indonesian Stock Exchange has the potential to become a special market for mining and plantation stocks, says Erry Firmanysah, president of PT BEI, the operator of the stock exchange.

- The Attorney General's office will name more officials of the state-owned postal company PT Pos Indonesia corruption suspects on charge of using company's fund to finance private coal business.

- At least 22 investors from Taiwan have postponed a plan to invest around US$700 million in shoe-making industry in the country over the energy crisis and the government's policy in working days.

- Attorney General Hendarmin Supandji said the crisis of credibility had hit his office after some of its top officials have been involved in alleged corruption.

- Unequal education standards, lack of access to healthcare, child labor, child abuse and malnutrition are some of the kinds of injustices Indonesian children endure as identified by teenagers at a national conference.

- Makassar, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Surakarta were among the major cities whose investment growth last year had been hampered by a lack of accessibility and security in land use rights, a survey says.
