DHL Increases Frequency of Flights to Boost Asia Network

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 Asia Pulse - Express and logistics company DHL has increased the frequency of its dedicated flights from Hong Kong to Nagoya, Taipei, Seoul and Singapore to serve the needs of growing intra-Asia trade.

The flights to these cities have been increased to six times per week, representing a 20 per cent increase in capacity for each cities, the company said in a statement Thursday.

"Increasing the frequency of our dedicated flights is a strategic initiative which reflects our strong and established presence in Asia Pacific," said senior vice president, aviation, DHL Express Asia Pacific, Tom Murphy.

"In addition to the dedicated aircraft, DHL is utilising over 500 commercial flights per day in Asia Pacific," he said.
