BBVA <BBVA.MC>

Spain's second largest bank is expected to up its stake in China's Citic Bank <0998.HK> to 15 percent from its current 10 percent, the Financial Times reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter, although the bank told the paper it had not made a final decision. Spanish savings bank Caixa Catalunya has asked Spain's Fund for Orderly Bank Restructuring for 1.1-1.2 billion euros to help it merge with Caixa Manresa and Caixa Tarragona, news agency EFE reported on Monday, citing financial sources.

FERROVIAL <FER.MC>

Ferrovial said on Monday that shareholders have approved a 200 million pound equity injection into BAA's London airports.

IBERIA <IBLA.MC>

British Airways' Chief Executive Willie Walsh said the group's planned merger with Iberia opens the way for a three-way tie-up with Australia's Qantas <QAN.AX> still a possibility, although deals in Europe are more likely. Walsh made the comments in an interview in Monday's Financial Times.

INDITEX <ITX.MC>

Europe's largest clothing retailer has decided to make some changes to its distribution centre to increase efficiency, including channelling all its men's clothing through its Arteixo centre, Cinco Dias reported on Monday.
