Adam Lambert's sexually-charged act draws complaints
LOS ANGELES - ABC television said on Monday it had received about 1,500 complaints about the sexually-charged performance by "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert at the American Music Awards on Sunday. Millions of viewers saw Lambert simulate oral sex with a back-up dancer, plant a passionate kiss on the mouth of a male keyboard player and gesture to the audience with his middle finger during the closing act of the live music awards show.

Frost honored, Britain wins 5 International Emmys
NEW YORK - Television veteran David Frost received an honorary International Emmy on Monday at the annual awards for TV produced outside the United States, with five of the prizes going to Britain and Brazil winning its first Emmy. Frost was presented with the Founders Award by fellow journalist Barbara Walters, who praised him as "the best interviewer there is. And he makes it look so easy."

LONDON - Scottish singer Susan Boyle, who shot to fame after her audition for "Britain's Got Talent" was aired in April, appears set to have the biggest album in Britain this year, music retailer HMV said on Monday. "I Dreamed A Dream," Boyle's debut album released by Sony Music, went on sale in Britain on Monday and hits stores in the key U.S. market on Tuesday.
Man pleads innocent to taping Erin Andrews nude
LOS ANGELES - A Chicago insurance man pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges that he peeped into television sports reporter Erin Andrews' hotel room when she was nude, took video of her and tried to sell the footage. Michael David Barrett, who is free on $100,000 bond and was charged in federal court in Los Angeles, faces up to five years in federal prison if convicted.
The real Alice in Wonderland's book up for auction
LOS ANGELES - A copy of the book "Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There" that belonged to the British girl who inspired author Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" will be sold at an auction next month, the company behind the sale said on Monday. At its December 16 auction, Profiles in History also will sell a copy of "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" that belonged to its author, Beatrix Potter. The items come from the collection of former U.S. professional football player Pat McInally, the auctioneer said.
Macau plans Michael Jackson shrine to house iconic glove
HONG KONG - A casino in the Chinese gambling haven of Macau will open Asia's first Michael Jackson shrine after its owners bought the late King of Pop's iconic white rhinestone glove for $350,000 at a U.S. auction. The shrine will be located in the lobby of the casino-resort Ponte 16, adding to Macau's attractions which already include the world's largest casino, The Venetian.

U2 to headline UK's Glastonbury Festival
LONDON - Irish rock band U2 are to headline next year's Glastonbury Festival on the 40th anniversary of the world's biggest green field arts and music event. The band are set to appear on June 25, the opening night of the festival for a one-off performance during their tour of the United States.
